2020 Reunion Update - Wednesday, February 19, 2020 - 11:40 A.M.
Dear Family & Friends,
If you thought I moved quickly to plan the 2019 Reunion in 68 days, you "ain't seen nothing yet." In less than five days we have gone from over six months of doubt and delay; to a reunion being planned for the Newport News, Virginia area (tentatively the weekend of July 16-19).
Quite honestly, Jean and Emmanuel are moving more quickly than I can keep up. I won't apologize for that, because Jean has always made certain everyone knows she is my YOUNGER sister; and the last few days have proved it. Add that to Emmanuel's energy, and the theory that "Henry Can't Keep Up" is CONFIRMED!
Here are my suggestions to help you keep up with the latest.

- If you do not have a Facebook Account, visit this blog often. I will share news from Jean and Emmanuel as quickly as I am able to.
- If you have family members or friends who you believe would be interested in the status of the reunion, please share with them. If they pester you too much, point them to a library near their home or job. The library will assist them. (Black History Sidenote - a lot of people died for our right to learn). Time is past for "we ain't got."
- O.K., the good news is that's the end of my sermon, and even better news is, I am not passing the Collection Plate.
