Dear Ford-Bryson / Hansie Solomon Family members,
Unfortunately, I am writing to inform you that the 2016 annual family reunion will NOT be held in BOSTON, MA. After nearly six months of investigating hotels and considering the logistics of coordinating a quality gathering, we have discovered that it would be prohibitively expensive. Hotels that could accommodate our potential group size, with the desired amenities and in a reasonable proximity of Boston are far too expensive. I have consistently received hotel rates above $300/night. Summer is peak tourism in Boston and Hotels and vendors have limited desire to negotiate further. Sadly, as I had anticipated, when I tentatively offered to investigate the possibility of hosting the reunion in Boston, I have to inform you that it truly is not financially reasonable to host our family reunion in the Boston area. I am notifying the family now, so that a more affordable city can have ample time to prepare to host the 2016 family reunion.
WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF A CITY/FAMILY CHAPTER TO HOST OUR 2016 FORD-BRYSON / HANSIE SOLOMON FAMILY REUNION. Thank you in advance to the future host(s).
